20 October 2020 - During the ESCP Autumn symposium on mental health care a new SIG has been launched. In an online meeting a few of the initiators explained to a group of over 50 participants the goals and way of working of the SIG. Derek Stewart, ESCP President, emphasized that ESCP wants to support all pharmacists' activities regarding deprescribing. And, of course, commitment and input from the SIG members is highly appreciated.Monika Lutters, ESCP Treasurer and one of the initiators, presented the plans for 2021 and 2022.
Both during the 2022 Spring Workshop in Zürich, Switzerland and during the 2022 Autumn Symposium in Prague, Czech Republic, workshops and meetings will be held on deprescribing.
Usually SIGS are only accessible to ESCP members. To attract as many people as possible, the first meeting is open to non-members as well.
