  • Formulate an appropriate treatment plan for adverse events due to melanoma treatment.

 

Description

The webinar aims to give an update on how to optimize pharmaceutical management in melanoma care.

 

Dr. Christina Haaf, PharmD, BCOP is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy. She received her Bachelor of Arts at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, followed by her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Texas in Austin. Christina also completed her general pharmacy residency at UIC College of Pharmacy. Christina has been active in the field of hematology/oncology for the past twenty-six years: she practices as a hematology-oncology clinical pharmacist at UI Health in Chicago and has precepted many pharmacy students, pharmacy residents and visiting pharmacy scholars. She is the UIC PGY2 oncology assistant residency program director as well as a coordinator for the UIC College of Pharmacy Collaborative Degree Programs with the University of Hong Kong and University of Malta. She has served on several university and hospital committees, including cancer center protocol review, patient education, pain, nutrition support and the UIC College Pharmacy admissions committee. Christina also serves as a member of National Community Oncology Dispensing Association (NCODA) publications committee and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Global Health Practice and Research Network (PRN) group. Her research interests include treatment of solid tumors, supportive care in oncology and non-malignant hematology.
