Description

This webinar aims to share best practices and skills relevant to publishing clinical pharmacy research findings in international peer-reviewed journals and how to effectively write for the target audience.

Dissemination of research findings is key to advancing knowledge, evidence base and implementation strategies. Publication in peer reviewed journals and related forums allows the scientific community, healthcare professionals, stakeholders, patients and the public to utilise research findings to inform best practices. Pharmacists have reported several barriers to undertaking pharmacy practice-based research including inadequate knowledge and training and low publication rates. This webinar aims to fulfil the gaps.

Dr Paudyal is an Associate Professor  in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice at the University of Birmingham, England. He is the immediate past Chair of the Research Committee of ESCP, an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and served previously as the editorial board member of Research in Social and Administrative Pharmacy. Dr Paudyal has co-authored over 100 peer reviewed journal publications. He has led externally funded research projects including ongoing randomized controlled trial of pharmacist-led support for people experiencing homelessness. His methodological area of expertise includes systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, database studies and qualitative evaluations.
