Guidelines and tools support clinical pharmacy practice, education and research in a number of ways, ranging from clinical guidelines in a highly specialised therapeutic area to guidelines which describe specific processes. ESCP supports members by signposting to available national and international guidelines. There are also guidelines and tools which ESCP has developed for its members. An example of these is the ‘How to……’ series of papers produced by the ESCP Research Committee, which provide practical advice on defined research tasks and areas.
