The aim of this masterclass is to take attendees through the key stages of designing and conducting mixed methods research, enabling them to apply mixed methods approaches in their own area of research. This masterclass will cater to researchers who are new to mixed methods research and those who are currently undertaking research involving a mixed methods approach. It will involve a combination of short presentations and participant-led group work and discussion. Attendees will learn about the typologies of mixed methods research and the associated advantages and limitations. Attendees will gain practical insights into designing and conducting a mixed research project, including how to triangulate findings.
