  • Become familiar with practical resources and evidence-based tools that support safe and effective psychopharmacotherapy in clinical practice

Description

The aim of this webinar is to demonstrate how clinical pharmacists can actively contribute to personalised pharmacotherapy in psychiatry in routine clinical practice. The session will focus on a practice-oriented, case-based approach, illustrating how clinical pharmacists support complex decision-making and improve treatment safety and effectiveness.

Through real-life clinical examples, the webinar will demonstrate how personalised strategies can be applied in patients with multimorbidity, organ impairment, or adverse drug reactions. It will highlight the use of tools such as therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacogenetic testing in clinical decision-making, as well as structured clinical approaches to optimise treatment, manage drug interactions, and support the safe use of high-risk psychotropic medications.

The session will also emphasise how clinical practice and applied research can be integrated, demonstrating how data-driven tools and clinical reasoning can support individualised care in psychiatry. Particular emphasis will be placed on practical resources and evidence-based tools relevant to psychiatric pharmacotherapy, equipping participants with strategies that can support their routine practice.
