The aim of the webinar is to raise awareness of the problems encountered when using anticholinergic burden tools for the assessment of inappropriate medications, concerns related to prescribing cascades, and the process of deprescribing anticholinergic medicines in patients older than 65 years
Dr. Ivana Tadić, is a postdoctoral researcher in clinical pharmacy at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. After completing her PhD, she worked as a community pharmacist before moving to academia. Her research focuses on medication safety in prescribing anticholinergic medicines for patients over 65, as well as economic analysis of pharmacist-led services. She has published over 50 papers in international journals. Dr. Tadić serves on the General and Education Committee of the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy and chairs the Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe.
